  • PAYMENT: All charges, (including packing, shipping, and insurance where applicable), must be paid in full before an item will be shipped or returned to you. Most repair jobs will require a deposit of 50%, with the remainder due when the job is ready to be picked up or shipped. Some repair jobs do require 100% advance payment for special order parts. Repaired items left more than 90 days after pick up notification will be sold to recover the cost of the repair and related expenses.

I accept cash, checks, money orders, cashier's checks and PayPal. Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express accepted through PayPal only at this time. I reserve the right to hold items purchased or repaired until non-certified check "clears the bank" (aprox. 10 to 14-days).

  • PRODUCT AVAILABILITY: Most items offered for sale are available for shipment within 2-business days. All items shown are subject to prior sale. Please contact me to confirm item availability and shipping schedule.

  • WARRANTIES: I guarantee that the merchandise I sell, and the services I perform, will be as described when the item is shipped, or the service rendered. Additional terms and limitations apply as set forth below. My entire liability to you or any third parties under any circumstance is limited to the sales price of the relevant goods or service.

eBay™ and other on-line retail sales: I guarantee all of the items that I sell to be as described when shipped. "Used" items may have minor blemishes. Items sold "as is" or "for parts only" may have known and unknown defects. In the unlikely event that an item is not as described, it may returned, complete, undamaged, and unaltered, for bid/sale amount refund only. Shipping charges not refunded. There is no other warranty expressed or implied. All eBay™ and on-line retail sales become final 3 days after delivery unless a problem has been reported. There is no other warranty expressed or implied.

Clock Repair: Please keep in mind that many of the clocks that I work on are over 100 years old. I guarantee the work that I do, but I cannot guarantee that other original parts of the clock will not fail at some time. New replacement parts are covered by the manufacturer's warranty only. Please ask any questions about warranties before signing the repair order.
    • Minor repairs and adjustments are guaranteed for a period of 90 days from the time of delivery unless otherwise noted on the repair order. If the clock fails to operated properly during this time, I will be happy to correct the problem. If I determine that the problem is due to the failure of another part of the clock that was not serviced, additional parts and labor charges may apply.
    • Complete rebuilds (clock movement) are guaranteed for a period of 1 year from the time of delivery unless otherwise noted on the repair order. If the clock fails to operate properly during this time, I will be happy to correct the problem. Old or original main springs are not covered by this warranty. New springs are covered by the manufacturer's warranty only.
    • Complete restorations, in addition to a movement rebuild in my shop, may include restorative work by other professional artists and antique refinishers. When specalized services are required for a restoration, the customer will be so advised before any work is performed. Special terms and conditions may apply to outside work. I try to involve the owner in every step of planning a restoration so that there will be no surprises.
    • Movement replacements and retrofits. New movements (quartz and mechanical) are covered by the manufacturer's guarantee only.
    • Mail-ins and bare movement repairs. Because there are so many things that can happen to a clock in the mail, including rough treatment, variations in the trueness of clock cases, and the possibility of damage or misalignment caused by owner installation and setup, I cannot guarantee that clocks and movements returned by mail will operate properly without additional on-site adjustments. The actual repair work is guaranteed, as stated above.
The guarantee does not cover problems caused by unlevel placement, truma (clock fell off the shelf etc.), unauthorized "tinkering" by others, improper adjustments after delivery, improper lubrication, and any other condition that is beyond my control.

Numerous factors can affect the timekeeping accuracy of a clock, including level placement, temperature, type of power, and the mechanical design of the clock. Some clocks just keep better time than others. Spring powered clocks often run "fast" right after being wound. Recently rebuilt clocks may require a few weeks of running to completely "break in" and settle down. I cannot guarantee how precisely your repaired clock will keep time - just that it will operate reliably, not stop without cause, and keep time within generally accepted limits for the type of clock that it is.

No refunds will be given for parts or labor charges as a means of honoring the guarantee. If a repaired clock fails to run properly during the guarantee period, I will be most happy to remedy the problem (subject to the terms of the guarantee and work order), but the malfunction will not be considered as the basis of a refund.
  • RETURNS: Please see the individual item description for return policy on that item. I DO NOT accept returns of books, magazines, photographs, computer software, audio recordings, or other items that can be easily copied. I DO NOT accept return of items sold "AS IS". All sales become final 3 days after delivery unless a problem has been reported.

    1. All returns require a return authorization. e-mail me at bobby@greenfieldstore.com to request a return authorization.
    2. I DO NOT issue refunds for items lost or damaged in shipment.
    3. I DO NOT refund shipping and handling charges.
    4. The buyer must pay all return shipping and insurance costs.
    5. I must receive the returned item(s) before any adjustment is issued.
    6. Additional conditions may apply to items sold in my eBay auctions, see auction listing for details. .
